How furniture removal works with DKB
Most furniture jobs start with a text: a photo of the couch, the mattress, or the room that needs emptying. From that we can give you a straight price based on how much trailer space it takes, and that price covers the carrying, the hauling, the dump fees and the cleanup. You don't need to drag anything to the driveway first. We come in, take it out from wherever it sits, and protect doorways and floors on the way.
Furniture that's still in decent shape doesn't have to end up in a landfill. When a piece is clean and usable we set it aside for donation, and metal frames, wood and other materials get recycled where the local facilities take them. Everything else goes to a proper disposal site, not a ditch on a back road. We send photos of every load so you can see where your stuff went.
Furniture Removal FAQ
How much does it cost to get rid of a couch?
Furniture is priced by how much of the trailer it fills, not per item, so a single couch usually falls in our smallest load size. The price includes carrying it out, hauling and disposal fees. Send a photo and we'll confirm the exact number before we come out.
Do you take mattresses and box springs?
Yes. Mattresses, box springs, bed frames and headboards are some of the most common things we haul. We carry them out from any room, including upstairs bedrooms.
Do I have to move the furniture outside first?
No. We pick it up from wherever it is, whether that's an upstairs bedroom, a back patio or a storage room. Moving heavy furniture is the part we're there to do.
