How estate cleanout works with DKB
An estate cleanout is rarely just a hauling job. There are papers to find, keepsakes to set aside, and decisions that shouldn't be rushed. Before we load anything, we walk through with you and agree on what stays, what gets donated and what goes. If you find something that needs to be kept, we set it aside. If family members live out of town, we can work from a list and send photos as we go.
Many of the homes we clear across Yuba City, Marysville and the surrounding towns have decades of belongings in the house, the garage, the shed and the yard. We clear all of it, deliver usable items to donation, and leave the property broom-swept so it's ready for a realtor, a new tenant or a family member moving in. You get photos of every load for your records.
Estate Cleanout FAQ
How long does an estate cleanout take?
It depends on the size of the property and how much is inside. Many homes are cleared in a single day; bigger properties or ones with full garages and outbuildings can take longer. We'll give you a realistic timeline with your quote.
Can you work with our realtor or estate sale company?
Yes. We often come in after an estate sale to clear what's left, or work to a realtor's listing date. Tell us the deadline and we'll plan around it.
What happens to items that are still usable?
Usable furniture, household goods and clothing are set aside for donation whenever possible, and we recycle what we can. The rest goes to proper disposal.
